Summer is coming. Salad will be in great popularity .but do you know how to make potato onion salad ?The combination of tomatoes and onions makes a perfect summer salad, as long as the tomatoes don’t become watery and the onion isn’t too harsh.
 
How to peel a tomato with ease?
Recipes that call for a long simmering time usually do not have you peel thetomatoes.We peel a tomato to reduce pesticide residues and obtain a better taste. Generally speaking, for recipes with quick cooking times it is best to peel the tomatoes.
1.Start by cutting an X in the bottom of the tomato with a very sharp knife. You want to just pierce the skin.
2.Put them in a heat-proof (Pyrex) bowl big enough and pour boiling water over the tomato(es.)
3.Within about 10-15 seconds, the skin will have burst, then drop the tomato into cold water. Remove the tomato from the ice bath and the skin now just slips off.
 
Tomato- onion salad recipe:
Ingredients:
4 large tomatoes,2 medium redonions,1/4 cup olive oil 
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon sugar ,Certain Salt and black pepper to taste
Steps : Cut the tomatoes into about 1 inch cubes and thinly slice the red onion.Place tomatoes and onions in a shallow serving bowl. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine wine vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and parsley; shake well. Pour over salad and toss gently to coat.
